My formal education consists of a double honours degree in modern languages (French, German and Italian) obtained from Cambridge University, followed by a post-graduate diploma in Technical and Specialized Translation at the University of Westminster (then the PCL, London).
My working career comprises more than 25 years' full-time experience of translating, including a number of in-house posts as head translator, reviser and editor positions, and more than 20 years of freelancing. I am also a member of numerous professional associations and writers' organizations, offering interpreting from Danish to English.
Furthermore, I am a certified/authorized Danish-English Translator (please refer to the Official Certification page), whilst I am also a member of the following:
